Today, we commemorate the 28th of October 1940 - a day sacred to the nation and a symbol of the indestructible Greek soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This day is not just a commemoration of a historical event, but a constant reminder of the power of Freedom, Unity and Faith in the values that underpin Hellenism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the light of that day and the heroes who glorified our country, we draw today the inspiration to consistently defend the ideals of Virtue, Justice and Fraternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Grand Lodge of Greece honours the heroes of the 1940s and all those who selflessly served the common good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We renew our pledge to continue to work for a world free of prejudice, violence and division - a world where Reason and Light will guide the Human Path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
