My brethren,
The feast of the Epiphany, the feast of Light, calls us to inward contemplation and spiritual rebirth. It is the day on which the Light is revealed to the world, sanctifying the waters and reminding us that Truth is not imposed, but is revealed to those who are ready to receive it.
For us, the Masons of the National Grand Lodge of Greece, the Light is our eternal goal. It is the symbol of Knowledge, Virtue and Moral Perfection. Just as the waters are sanctified today, so we must daily cleanse our inner temple of passions, ignorance and selfishness, so that we may become worthy bearers of the Light.
Let us draw strength and inspiration from the meaning of the day to continue our work with prudence, moderation and love for our fellow man. Let us become living carriers of Light in society, working silently but effectively for progress, harmony and spiritual upliftment.
I wish that the Light of Epiphany illuminates the path of all of us, guides our actions, and strengthens the bond of Brotherhood.
