Thirty-nine years are completed today (7 June) since six entire lodges and 224 brethren, coming from the Grand Lodge of Greece, took the decision to change the course of the history of Greek Freemasonry.

In a person's life, 39 years could be considered the halfway point. In the history of the National Grand Lodge of Greece, however, it is only the beginning.

We thank from the bottom of our hearts those who once gave breath and laid the foundations for this beautiful building. We also thank those who over the years have seen to it that this edifice has strengthened its foundations and established itself as a regular tectonic force, both within and beyond our borders.

Finally, we thank all of you who daily, with your love and dedication, offer your own little stone so that the National Grand Lodge of Greece can achieve the purpose for which it was created: to be the main exponent of Greek Symbolic Freemasonry.
