On this day of August 15th, a leading feast of Orthodoxy and Hellenism, the Grand Master of the National Grand Lodge of Greece, Rev. Ad. Ioannis Benettatos, extends warm greetings and wishes many happy years to all the Brothers, honoring the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
It is a day of national self-awareness, social and fraternal unity and cultural memory. It is a moment that unites Greeks around common values: faith, solidarity, respect for human dignity.
Fifteenth of August is also an opportunity to reflect on "together" and may it be a source of strength and a reference point for a more just and open society, to face the challenges of today united, remaining firm in the universal values and virtue that Freemasonry stands for.
